The mayor of Cagayan de Oro, the Honorable Constantino Jaraula, reacted on the study conducted by the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) saying that it was basically flawed. He questioned why the city was classified as a medium-sized city when its population already reached 561,000 in 2006.
